Our college is a progressive college since its inception. Multidimensional progress since 6th July 1993 when Dr. Alok Kumar taken over the chair of Principal .He not only Maintained the academic environment in the college but also maintained the atmosphere of discipline . Due to his efforts a no. of new courses has been started in this institutions . No other college of this state received the financial assistance like our college from UGC and other departments.Uttranchal has adopted this college as college of excellence in Hardwar District .
Last but not the least , the college is blessed by the H.H swami Tejomayananda , the present Head of Chinmaya Mission . He visited out of institutions 2 times and gave the word of wisdom to the staff and student of the college .

The College has an impressive double story building furnished with all essential amenities . It comprises of 8 standard science Labs, a well referenced Library , Classrooms , Seminar Room , Department Room , Student Common Room :: (Separate of Boys and Girls), a canteen and an administrative wing . Recently a well equipped Laboratory is developed for the vocational course of industrial chemistry and for the post graduate course of chemistry separately.The laboratory for Post Graduate course in Physics & Digital Library is under construction .
